COBIT 4.0 updated and extended the IT Governance Institute's control objectives, management guidelines and framework which are widely used in assessing IT practices, particularly by the internal / external audit communities.
Development of this edition was led by a COBIT steering committee and core team, supported by COBIT users, expert advisors, academics and members of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). |
