Company profile
Founded in 2000, Citicus's goal is to help organisations
understand information risk and bring it under management control.
To achieve this we provide world-class tools for
measuring and managing risk in the development and use of information
systems, notably through our Citicus ONE product which automates
the Information Security Forum's methodology for Fundamental Information
Risk Management (FIRM). Citicus has an exclusive, worldwide licence to
develop software based on this methodology - reflecting the contribution
made to the development of FIRM by its founders.
Citicus also provides its clients with training
and consultancy in information risk management.
Our company name
Our company name is derived from Sitticus, a
family of jumping spider. This pays homage to the graphical way we
represent information risk in our risk charts, which customers often refer
to as 'spider charts' (see below).
